Hi, I am Alan Knowsley, the Legal and Constitutional Chairman of the Lions District 202 H. [Greater Wellington].

My role is to assist Lions, Lions Clubs and the District Officers with understanding and applying the Club, District and International Constitutions.  I also offer advice and assistance on the general law as it applies to Lions eg health and safety, liquor licensing, Privacy Act and incorporation amongst a host of others.  I’m also available to speak to zone or club meetings on any particular legal issues.

I am a member and Past President of the Eastern Suburbs Lions Club.  I became a partner of the law firm of Rainey Collins in 1987 and am currently managing partner.

I’m married to Linda and we have two sons.
